The Gracious Doula is a Brisbane Doula supporting clients through pregnancy, birth and postpartum. TGD was founded in 2022 following the birth of my youngest as I became aware of the cultural misconceptions surrounding childbirth. It is now becoming common knowledge that fear has been propagated over time through a series of events, leading to a distorted perception of birth. I decided I wanted to not only break down these theories and help women have the birth they desire, but provide compassion and be a friend in a time of need and document each families’ journey along the way.
